  • For the second-straight week, Jackson was named the Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week for his performance in Louisville's 62-28 win at Syracuse.
  • Jackson followed up on his week one heroics by accounting for an ACC-record 610 yards from scrimmage -- rushing for 199 yards and a school record for most rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with four.
  • Was named the Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week. He is the lone player in the country to be named to the Davey O'Brien "Great 8" both weeks this season.
  • Selected as the ACC Offensive Player of the Week.
  • As a passer, Jackson completed 20-of-39 passes for a career-best 411 yards and one touchdown — including a 72-yard touchdown pass to James Quick on the first play of the game.
  • Became the first player in FBS history to record over 400 yards passing and 175 yards rushing in a game.
  • Jackson is the second player to repeat as Walter Camp National Offensive Player of the Week since the award was started in 2004. Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson won the award in consecutive weeks (Sept. 5 and 12, 2010).
  • Jackson set a school record for total offense with (610 yards; 199 rushing and 411 passing) — breaking Chris Redman's mark of 578 versus East Carolina, 1998).
  • His 610 total yards were the most by a player in ACC history.
  • Set a school record with four rushing touchdowns by a quarterback (previous record: 3, Benny Russell vs. Dayton, 1965). It was the sixth time in school history a player has rushed for four touchdowns in a game.
  • Totaled 199 yards rushing — the second most by a quarterback in school history, only second to his 226 yards versus Texas A&M last season. He has totaled 730 rushing yards in his last four games
  • Accounted for four touchdowns -- a 72-yard pass and touchdown runs of seven, 13 and 72 yards -- in the game's first quarter.
  • The Pompano Beach, Fla., product recorded the seventh 100-yard rushing game of his career, which is tied for seventh all-time in school history. It was also his fourth-straight 100-yard game dating back to last season.
  • Jackson holds the school record for career rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 15, breaking Benny Russell's (1964-66) mark of 11.
  • In his last four games, Jackson has rushed for a total of 730 yards in 71 carries, an average of 10.2 yards per attempt.

You get mad because they couldn’t catch the guy, he’s the fastest guy on the football field, on both teams, he’s an exceptional player. I saw him outrun contain, where three guys were exactly where they were supposed to be and we should have tackled for a two‐yard loss, and he runs all the way to the other side for an eight yard gain and runs out of bounds—And you can’t get mad at them, you have two yards of outside leverage on the guy, and he runs in and outside of the leverage and they still can’t touch him.
